Intensive planning

The Shuinan Water Resources Recovery Center under construction
is expected to officially supply water to CTSP in 2024. The Bureau
has been communicating with government units to promote the

use of reclaimed water as the main source of industrial water, and
promised in the EIA that 100% of the water increased in the second
phase of the expansion of Taichung Park will be used, so as to

prevent the water used in the second phase of the expansion from
affecting the people's livelihood in Taichung City. The Taichung

Municipal Government has also submitted the "Promotion Plan
for the Supply of Reclaimed Water from Taichung Public Sewage
Treatment Plants to CTSP Taichung Park" to the Land Department

of the Ministry of the Interior for consideration.

The promotion of the circular economy depends on the continuous
progress of recovery and reuse technologies. At present, the

resource recycling (reuse) center, which is cooperating with TSMC,
has been introduced into the park, mainly focusing on high-value
chemical products, hoping to reduce the impact of waste on the

environment with the maturity and scale expansion of technology.
