Vision : Sustainable Park
In order to enhance international visibility, CTSP Bureau continuously links sister
parks, and interacts with local governments and enterprises through foreign visits, so
as to understand the international newly-created ecosystems and industrial pulse, and
at the same time, it helps park manufacturers to expand their markets and increase
cooperation opportunities. In October 2022, Deputy Director-General led his colleagues
to Japan to attend the 20th anniversary of Kitakyushu Sister Park and the bilateral
seminar between Taiwan and Japan. In November, 2022, the chief secretary led a
delegation to Germany to participate in the Medical Equipment Exhibition in Dusseldorf
(Medica 2022), and visited the largest innovation and acceleration base in Cologne,
Startplatz, and also visited the internationally renowned independent testing and
certification institutions, Germany's Rhine (TV), dynamic plastics manufacturer IGUS
and Merck Group headquarters.
In May 2023, Director-General led his colleagues to visit Israel's Ministry of Innovation
and Technology and Israel's Innovation Bureau. Strengthen bilateral exchanges
between bilateral science and technology and related government departments. In June
2023, the representative of the planning team leader attended the Science Park Innofair
held in Gyeongju, South Korea. In September 2023, Director-General led his colleagues
to visit Japanese trading companies, CTSP sister parks and research parks in Tokyo
and Kyoto. By introducing CTSP's investment environment and industrial settlement
development, we can attract high-quality Japanese businessmen to invest (or increase
capital) in Taiwan, link foreign sister parks and expand international business exchanges
in the parks, as well as understand and care about the overseas development status of
new companies under the guidance of CTSP Bureau.
In September, 2023, Deputy Director-General led his colleagues to Europe to participate
in the International Machine Tool Exhibition in Hanover, Germany, to learn about the
latest technological pulse of the global machine tool industry, and at the same time
to conduct investment promotion, and to visit potential investment manufacturers,
introduce the investment environment and industrial development status of CTSP
through exchange visits, and actively strive for international manufacturers to invest in
Taiwan; In October, 2023, the chief secretary led colleagues from Investment Division
to Japan to participate in the international medical exhibition Medical Japan, and
exchanged ideas and attracted investment with local enterprises, research institutes,
accelerators, venture capitalists and park manufacturers.
