2. Employment growth

With the number of CTSP manufacturers growing year by year, the number of employees
in December 2022 was 55,295, and the number of employees in December 2023 reached

54,940, an increase of 3.88% compared with 2021. The semiconductor industry accounts
for 44.24% of the employment in all industries, followed by the photoelectric industry
with 31.17%; According to the distribution of academic qualifications, the proportion of

employed people above junior college is as high as 78.77%; By gender, the ratio of male
to female is 65.35% and 34.65% respectively.
