Summary highlights

The purpose of Central Taiwan Science Park (CTSP) is to create a high-quality investment
environment to attract domestic and foreign manufacturers and promote the development
of high-tech industries in central Taiwan by building complete software and hardware

infrastructure. Central Taiwan Science Park Bureau (CTSP Bureau) is committed to promoting
sustainable development alongside the nation. Aligned with the goals of Taiwan's Sustainable
Development Goals (T-SDGs), CTSP Bureau has completed a blueprint for CTSP's sustainable

development, focusing on "innovation orientation," "sustainable park," and "social
integration" as its core objectives.

CTSP conducts self-assessments (Voluntary Department Reviews) on its contribution to

the T-SDGs. The environmental safety team leads the overall planning, while a sustainable
team handles the ongoing editorial tasks. These efforts ensure a comprehensive review of
how each unit's activities correlate with the T-SDGs. Through this process, CTSP Bureau has

demonstrably contributed to economic growth (Goals 4 & 8), cross-regional cooperation (Goal
17), environmental management (Goals 6, 7, 12 & 13), social responsibility (Goals 5 & 8), and
park construction (Goals 9 & 11) to T-SDGs.

This report follows the Guidelines for the Writing of Voluntary Inspection Reports of the
Ministry, and takes CTSP Bureau's Blueprint for Sustainable Development, Organizational

Structure and Promotion Mechanism, Major Core Goals and Promotion Results and
Future Outlook as the writing framework, and explains the contents and achievements of
business implementation in combination with the sustainable vision, governance axis and

16 promotion measures, and systematically presents CTSP's response to the sustainable
development goals (T-SDGs) in Taiwan.
