Challenges/opportunities faced

Twenty years after the establishment of CTSP, the industrial settlements of
semiconductors, optoelectronics, precision machinery, biotechnology, etc. in the park
have taken shape. However, science and technology continue to make iterative progress,

and enterprises need to keep up with the latest technological development trends to
lay out future business opportunities and seek a new round of operational growth. As a

government agency, CTSP Bureau fully understands the direction of the government's
industrial policy, and can help manufacturers invest in the development of emerging
technologies at an appropriate time by connecting the rich academic and research

resources around the park, so as to reserve innovative momentum.

1. Technical Forum

On June 2nd, 2023, CTSP Bureau held the "Seminar on the Development and
Application of Smart Manufacturing Trends", and invited experts and scholars in

smart manufacturing-related fields from Huwei University of Science and Technology,
National Cheng Kung University and Intelligent Machinery Technology Center of ITRI
to give speeches on industrial trends, technological development and scientific and

technological achievements.

All the invited speakers have implemented the NSTC or the Ministry of Economic
Affairs' science and technology plan, and they are deeply experienced in forward-

looking technology and industrial practice. It is hoped that through this activity, many
innovative technologies and practical experience analysis will be shared, which will drive

manufacturers to introduce innovative technologies and train talents for intelligent
manufacturing R&D industries, so as to improve operational efficiency and further
promote the whole industry to internationalization.
